When typos become a daily giggle

Ever mistyped someone’s name so badly that it turned into a whole new identity? Just yesterday, I accidentally called my boss ‘Captain Crunch’ in an email. I can’t decide if it was a slip of the fingers or the universe sending a message! Anyone else have similar tales of the typing mishaps that made your day a little brighter?

I once typed ‘Dear Captain America’ in a memo instead of ‘Dear Mr. Smith.’ My coworkers had a field day with that one! I think we should start a support group for those of us who accidentally create superhero alter egos in emails.

I totally feel you on the name mix-ups! Just the other day, I accidentally addressed an email to my colleague as ‘Beyoncé’ instead of ‘Bianca.’ It had everyone laughing, but man, these typos drive me nuts sometimes. By the way, do you think it’s just autocorrect acting up or is it a sign we need a break? :joy:.

I once called my coworker ‘Darth Vader’ in a chat instead of their actual name — talk about a Star Wars moment! It’s funny how these typos can lighten the mood at work, but maybe we should all double-check before hitting send. @lquinn65, any plans for a typo-themed office day?
