Text expanders with measured gains

Has anyone timed real gains from Typinator, PhraseExpress, Espanso, or Beeftext — seconds saved per 100 fields or % per hour? I’m entering about 12,000 addresses a week in Google Sheets; my current snippet set trims 2.9–3.4% (about 7 minutes on a 4‑hour block), and I’m chasing something that reliably breaks 5%. If you’ve got benchmarks, please share the tool, dataset type, and your numbers so I can compare apples to apples.

On 9,200 US addresses in Sheets, Espanso + forms (tab‑separated output) gave me 5.6–6.3% over baseline; biggest lift came from two‑letter triggers for city/county and a ‘smart suffix’ rule (st→Street, rd→Road) that only fires after a number (felt like putting the address book on rails). Small caveat: the gain dropped to about 3% when casing was messy — try the forms pattern here: Forms | Espanso; what % of your entries share the same city, @OP?

Broke 5% only after adding a ZIP→city/state lookup macro in PhraseExpress; on 11,800 US addresses in Sheets it averaged 5.4–6.1% (about 12–15 min per 4‑hour block). I imported a USPS ZIP CSV and set a prefix so typing z+ZIP expands to “City, ST” with auto‑punctuation — maintenance is the only caveat. If your 12k/week are mostly US, this has been the quickest lift I’ve found, @wingshift36.

@hewe515’s numbers track: Typinator gave about 6% on 10k US entries by domain-restricting and two-letter triggers; tried that?
