This week I got three ‘quick chat’ invites via Calendly links instead of a normal email thread; two were 15 minutes on Google Calendar. Is this becoming the default for small decisions, and how do you push back without looking difficult?

I usually counter with ‘email works — share 3 bullets + deadline,’ and only accept ‘15 minutes’ if there’s an agenda; fair?

Ask, ‘what’s the decision and owner?’; otherwise I decline 15-minute Calendly.

Quick trick: I reply to Calendly links with “send me the one‑paragraph decision + options and I’ll send a 2‑min Loom in 30 minutes,” and only book if they still need live. Building on @jawe394 , I also bundle any must‑do 15s into one Friday block so the week doesn’t fragment — too firm?
Switched Calendly to require a ‘purpose + link’ and bump 15→25. Urgent? I’ll still take 15.
