More gigs want AI + human review

In the last two RFPs I saw this week, clients asked specifically for ‘human-in-the-loop QA over OCR’ instead of pure manual entry. Is this really faster end-to-end, or are we just shifting time from typing to validation? If you’re seeing the opposite — full automation with no QA — where and with what tools?

We cut about 30% end-to-end by letting Azure Form Recognizer pre-fill, then auto-flagging only fields <0.93 confidence or regex/schema mismatches for human review in Label Studio — way faster than full manual, but the thresholds need per-vendor tuning. > the opposite — full automation with no QA — where and with what I only risk that on fixed-layout invoices after a 500-doc drift check and tiny spot audits, @mike — are your clients okay with a documented fallback when confidence dips?
