Has anyone else noticed how the job market has changed lately; i’ve been sending out applications for weeks and getting almost no responses. It feels like finding a decent job is getting tougher. Anyone have tips or success stories?
I’ve been in the same boat, sending out applications and hardly getting any traction. One thing that worked for me was tweaking my resume and cover letter for each specific job, focusing on the keywords in the job description. It can be time-consuming, but I noticed more responses after I started doing that.
It’s tough out there, especially sending out applications for weeks with no response. I found that networking on LinkedIn led to more opportunities than just applying online. Have you tried reaching out to contacts in your industry?
Have you thought about reaching out to any former coworkers or classmates? Networking can often uncover hidden job opportunities. I’ve landed a few interviews just by reconnecting on LinkedIn with people in my field.
