Ever Typed the Wrong Thing

I just had a moment where I accidentally typed ‘monthly reports’ as ‘monthly retorts’ in a client email. I can’t help but laugh imagining the client thinking I was going to start some sort of debate on the last quarter’s performance. Anyone else had a funny slip-up like that — it’s comforting to know I’m not alone in this.

Oh man, I once typed ‘annual reports’ as ‘annual retorts’ too! :joy: Can’t imagine the client’s reaction. Glad to know I’m not the only one making these slips.

I totally get that! I once typed ‘client satisfaction’ as ‘client dissatisfaction’ and panicked for a second. @macaw6189, agree on the timing part — just double-checking before hitting send has saved me more than a few awkward follow-ups. Have you considered setting email confirmations for important messages?

Just last week, I meant to say ‘data entry errors’ but typed ‘data entry terrors’ instead! Can you imagine the expressions on their faces? In a client meeting, it might help to repeat an important phrase or just give a little laugh if things go sideways, like @macaw6189 suggested.
