Big changes coming in data entry tools

I just heard that a major software company is rolling out an update that will completely change how we enter data, set to launch next month. They’re promising a lot of automation features that could really speed things up, but I wonder how the learning curve will be. Anyone else?

I’m curious too about how this update will mesh with our current systems. If the learning curve isn’t too steep, it could really help those of us who feel like we’re always swimming upstream with data entry. Has anyone seen a demo yet?

I’ve found that familiarizing yourself with a tool’s shortcuts can really ease the learning curve. When I’ve switched before, it helped to spend a little time just practicing those before diving in. Do you think you’d try that too, @hewe515?

I totally get where you’re coming from about the automation features. When I switched to a new tool last year, I took 15 minutes each day to just explore the new shortcuts, which really helped. It’s all about getting a little hands-on experience — what’s the one feature you’re most excited to try?
