Are we overestimating automation's benefits

I’ve been thinking about how much we rely on automation to handle tasks, particularly in business. While it seems efficient, I’m starting to wonder if we’re sacrificing personal relationships and creativity for the sake of speed. Has anyone else felt this shift; i’d love to hear different perspectives on the balance between tech and the human touch?

You raise an interesting point about the balance between efficiency and human connection. In my experience, scheduling regular check-ins with team members can help maintain those personal relationships that might get lost in the shuffle of automation. I’m curious, have you tried any specific practices to bring that human touch back into your workflow?

It drives me nuts how we can lose sight of personal relationships in the race for speed. I think having regular face-to-face (or Zoom) catch-ups can really help bring that human element back, even if it feels like it takes extra time. What do you think about setting a weekly team lunch to reconnect, even if it’s virtual?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

And i get what you’re saying about the speed vs. creativity issue. I think setting aside time for brainstorming sessions can really help keep the creative spark alive, even with all the automation. Have you tried any specific methods to balance it out?
