I used to lose 1-2% overnight, now it’s 6-7% after the 2.3.1 update; same apps, Wi-Fi on, 8 hours idle. If you’ve updated, can you post your before/after idle drain or a quick repeatable test (30 min YouTube at 50% brightness, starting at 80%) so we can compare?
Before 2.3.1 I was 1-2% over 8 hours; now it’s 5-6%. My 30‑min YouTube at 50% from 80% dropped to 75%, and disabling auto Wi‑Fi network scanning trimmed about 1% off the overnight drain.
Same here: went from about 2% to about 5% overnight; my 30‑min YouTube at 50% from 80% ended at 76%. Mind checking if Play Services or Cell standby is topping your usage? Turning off Bluetooth scanning under Location > Scanning shaved about 1% off idle for me, like a tiny gremlin got bored.
Saw mine creep to about 5% too; turning off Bluetooth scanning (Location > Scanning) and the “Hey Google” always-on mic brought idle back to about 2% after a cycle — felt like it stopped sleepwalking. +1 to @falcon on scanning; can you try those toggles and an overnight with Wi‑Fi on but airplane mode enabled to see if radios are the culprit?
